Just installed some continuous panels for my first time.
Everything went well but wondering, are the splices between panels meant to be welded or should they be left unwelded?
I've always remember what an old timer told me a long time ago. Steel will expand/contract about 1/8" per 20', with a 100-degree temperature change. So HERE that temperature change can happen, and the steel is going to need some place for that to happen. YMMV |
