| Was doing the same thing today. Where our panels joined in between posts, (8’) I welded the connectors to both panels. Where the panels meet on the post, I only welded one side. So basically every 40’ it can expand/contract, plus the ends. I welded a bead on the end so the panels can’t get pushed one way or the other too far.
