I would guess in a wetter year I would have had different results. I think it scavenged some N in the profile. The other half of the field looks to be 35-40 bushels better, but that was on wheat stubble that got 10tons/ac of cattle manure on it and a 100lbs of N as urea.
Just kind of a field I was playing around with to try and eliminate commercial p&k. The wheat ground got cc on it last fall. It was dry and didn't grow real well.
