S Illinois | How much water does the average pivot irrigated corn field in say NE have in runoff during irrigation season? If they have no run off or contribution to river flows from their water pumping but yet can achieve 220+ corn, can the same not be done on non-irrigated? If rainfall events are low intensity but spaced, is that any different than making circles with a pivot? | |
