| This one had a 3 hp Clinton engine with an oil bath air cleaner. It was probably about a 1953, it replaced one that we had before with a 1.5 hp Clinton engine. The 3 hp had 6 speeds forward and a reverse drive. If you wanted to change speeds and keep your fingers you needed to shut the engine off as you changed which pulley the belt was on.
Probably not too many on here anymore have heard of Clinton engines.
