south central WI | We currently run a roto-grind hammer mill behind a deere 8400. It will do roughly 900-1000 bu/hr grinding it as fine as we can get it. It matched our Gleaner r62 in capacity at 32%+ moisture corn. Switched up to a 750 Lexion which easily doubled our capacity. Now we need something larger for grinding. I think iread on here about the haybuster 1100 or 1130 for corn. Need to grind 2000-3000 bu/hr. We haven't had a full day combining to determine actual capacity, but when moving it shows 2500-3000/hr.
1)What would the bu/hr of one of those be at 32-35% corn with 250-300 horsepower in front of it? We would prefer to grind it fine, almost pig feed fine.
2) how much corn will fit in the tub?
3) pics of any setup similar or with a different brand?
We currently grind about 90,000 bu total.
