Subject: RE: Solar

West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12
Why would they burn coal at night to keep the lights on when there several recently built and upgraded NG generators in the area? They built and upgraded the NG generators long before any solar panels were installed.

My corn dryer isn't even hooked to the grid and probably never will be. I finally bought a big enough dryer a decade ago so I can shut it down a couple hours after we quit picking and go to bed.

If the grid electricity goes out for my house for any reason my Generac will startup automatically and shares a 1500 gallon supply of LP with my house water heater and boiler.

Just doing my part to lesson my load on the grid.
