SE Arkansas | You guys are getting the double whammy. Impossible to measure, but I'm pretty confident the Board Price is also suppressed by the low Mississippi and Panama Canal water levels. A personal note here. I live in SE Arkansas and cross the Greenville Lake Village Bridge frequently. There is one way traffic on the river in a big curve just north of the bridge. Many times when I cross the bridge, there will be as many as 20 barge strings parked, waiting for upstream traffic to open. When I come back a couple of hours later, they are all gone. So these guys are pretty efficient. | |
