Grown spring canola all my life and Ive never seen over 3000lbs/acre. Winter canola might get to that 1.75 but if its spring, thats malarky. Canola can be finicky, its the only crop I've had to spray every other day for 10 days straight. Corn doesnt like to follow it and beans following are more succeptable to mold. We grow it largely to get fall wheat planted early than on bean stubble.
