Id argue its easy to chisel plow in the snow not so easy to establish rye lol. Only way your getting covers to do anything here is after silage, snap beans or early soybeans... Can do it after corn but what point does a cover do if it has 1/4 to a half inch of growth.... not much Get more out of spreading the residue evenly and reducing rain drop erosion that way...
