As technology evolves and production increases they will become more efficient and cheaper.  Think about the mpg and horsepower in vehicles years ago versus ICE's today.  Hybrid vehicles were met with skepticism when they first came out but it has proven to be unwarranted.  The die is cast and, at least for the near future, this is the direction we are going.  Continual griping about it is going to do nothing to change that.  Just sit back, wait and see what happens.  Change is difficult.  For example,  I remember when no till first came out.  It was met with skepticism by many and still is by some.  Such is life.      .

Your ( example) has a a few of holes in it. I don’t remember getting government subsidies for buying a notill drill notice I said buying not using for starters and I’m pretty sure there was no plans to stop building tillage equipment. We are literally at this moment in time going across a bridge and burning it behind us on Evs, wind mills solar panels it’s just freaking crazy. I’m not against EVs I’m totally against no choices were not there yet on the technology to make it work for everyone. Plus I’m very skeptical on Evs actually being good for the environment as advertised with their batteries. Man that’s going to be a butt load of them out there to make this work.
