Why would it be on the custom applicator? He was hired to do a job. If the farmer booked/instructed the wrong chemicals to be sprayed then it’s on the farmer or his agent that did the booking/hiring of the sprayed job.
My caveat is that the custom applicator did nothing else wrong sprayed the wrong field etc….
