Actually no we haven’t seen the current fundamentals this strong for the long term before. We are in unprecedented territory.
I certainly believe cattle have a chance of going back up, but you sound like a lot of people on this board in the 2013 time frame.
It’s a cattle cycle for a reason and JBS imports a lot of beef. I was informed today that the price of beef in Australia has dropped 30%. I don’t know if it’s true.
Just talked to a guy with a good construction job. Says they quit going out for lunch every day because it was to expensive. the little things like this ad up quick.
On the other hand we stopped at the Grain Exchange in a smaller town tonight and they had 60 people in their sit down restaurant, packed. |
