Subject: hay pivot question.

North Central Kansas

I have a half circle unit.  Been growing corn, ready to put in alfalfa for rotation of other fields.
I am trying to find ways to avoid ruts in the fields from the tracks.  I plan on cutting the hay north to south going over the tracks.
I don't have the $ to invest in an actual track filler that drops dirt or limestone into the track to fill it.  And once its in hay, you dont want to work the ground with the other track filler

These are some ideas that I have seen, thought about, wondered about, and asking you all about:

This is a unit that drags behind looks like might do decent?

What have you done that you have found works good in hay ground?
thanks
