Cover crop is something else I'm thinking about, but we normally do not plant into green cover. If we have rye before corn I like to have it crispy dead ahead of planting. All fields have manure history, but its often every other or every third year. CEC varies, but is often 6-8, some 10. I'd be open to comments about optimal timing of sidedress, but normally v4-v6?
