 south central WI | As said above, a skidoo 4 stroke 900 or 600 would be good, or even the 600 2 stroke in the sport, which is a lower powered and lower featured model. The 600's will both do 60-70mph on a long run, and the 900 will do 90+ if you try hard enough, but they are all reliable and made for the slower crowd. There are basic models, and some with more features like air suspension and heated seats.
I would trust a 4 stroke for 10,000+ miles. A 600 2 stroke for 6-8000 miles, and any 800+ for 4-5000 miles of trail riding.
If you ever rode a snowmobile from before 2004, the new ones are nothing like them. When I was younger and invincible, a 250 mile ride would about kill you the next day due to sore back etc. Now I can do 250-350+ and still able to ride more. You sit more vertical (rider forward) so less strain on back. | |
