When the rest of the belt was in 100 degree heat Indiana had what weather? As far as I saw you were in the 80s? Could be wrong.
What’s your soil holding capacity? What’s your CECs.
This year proved no crop can be grown without moisture. What it proved was there’s a lot of soil in iowa Illinois and Indiana that can’t hold A LOT of moisture IMO
