Galena IL | We have a round cement pit for wet distillers. It’s 60 foot in diameter 17 foot tall and will hold 1300 tons. Probably a little bigger than you’re thinking. To try to give you an idea of how much wet cake flows The belt trailers back in from the north and the load out door is on the west side. Or another Way to say it the truck will unload at 12 o’clock and the load out door is at 9 o’clock. Anyway I can unload 75 ton before it starts to run out the door.
If I were you I would Cement a 24 x 24 level pad. I would then put 2 x 2 x 6 cement blocks two high on three sides of it. If you could make it so the belt trailer go back up to the side opposite your opening you could easily put two semi loads in there. If that’s not possible have him bring one load let it sit a day or two you can pile it up a lot more after it sits And you should have Room for another load easily.... Dennis | |
