Western Minnesota | The Company my Platoon was part of failed to account for the following while I was in Country
4 - jeeps
2 - duce and a half's 2.5 ton military truck
3- fuel trucks also the fuel in them
1- Tank
2 fuel bladders
1 helicopter although that was found some 6-8 weeks after it first went missing
Now outside of the chopper everything else was never found while I was in service, and all of this equipment very well could have been lost in action( I doubt it all was but some if not most could have been) the problem was nobody filled out the paper work needed if it was lost under enemy fire. So when I say they have better records and trackability now then my experience, that's what I'm talking about.
BTW the chopper went in for service work and no paperwork was filed out, so for the weeks it was missing it simply was ready to fly and nobody knew who it belonged to when a pilot took another chopper to do service work he straightened out the paperwork and brought it back.
I guess in your world these are not "facts" because I have no documentation of this stuff.
but trackability was what it was. | |
