west central Iowa | We had an 1880 with the Ford Industrial gas engine. You could see that gas gauge move also. Big gas tank didn’t last the day when cutting silage. Blowing feed with the knives was an experience. The blower sheet would wear a wavy surface, then hard to set sheet up tight to knives. Not a lot of fun to change that piece either.
Thought we had died and gone to heaven when we upgraded to a Deere 5440! | |
