My take as well. Normally calved in spring so maybe there was more demand for baby calves. I’d just get them going good and get them to the very next sale. It was always a nice bonus. One year I sold my extra twin calves for more than my weaned calves. Price was really good that spring and guys were optimistic. Wasn’t the same when I went to sell my weaned calves.
