Mendota illinois | To all of the posters that still have your dad with you and helping you, I am very envious. I’m 81, I when my son decided to start farming. I thought we could be a father-son team but I’m not welcome in his equipment anymore. It does kind of leave the scare that never heals. Just like some I lost my father when I was 17 years old and there’s so many things I would love to ask him, would love to just sit and talk to him about what happened in his life. Be thankful that your father is still alive and enjoy every day with them as much as possible. Even if you do not get along with your father, the least you can do is show some respect for him, think what he went through and how he tried to help you. I lost my dad 64 years ago, but still think about a lot of times.
