Southeast WI | Only time we needed chains was on our trip to mammoth in ca. It's required to have chains there. We bought the cable style with round rings on them for maybe $100 at the time (12 years ago) and actually did need them to get to the resort one day around town. Amazing what just those simple chains added to a rear drive Durango. We asked for 4wd but not that common in So Cali... I wouldn't sweat it too much. All the years skiing across Co and other western states and never used chains. Just have something to put on. | |
