West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | Just think about how much electrical grid capacity would be gained if we only had to pump from the ground, transport by pipeline , and refine half the amount of oil.
I wonder how much electricity a coal burning power plant uses in a year? It has to cost a small fortune to run all those conveyors and pumps...not to mention the amount of electricity those huge draglines and shovels use mining the coal.
