Western Ontario | Garvo thought you might be interested in this sale report, it’s from a sale barn about 45 minutes north east of me in a little place called Keady. It has the best run of grass yearlings in Ontario, many of these yearlings would be sourced from Alberta/Saskatchewan/Manitoba last fall, backgrounded and then on pasture since early May. $3.20 Canadian is $2.40 US. Ontario feedlots like feeding grass yearlings because they’ve got lots of frame and can feed the snot out of them, also they won’t have much trouble with feet on slats.
