Subject: conditions of things

well hello. I hope things are better in your neck of the woods than here. Last couple of years it's been dry....The wheat was not cut this year, due to it not growing due to the dry wx.....was going to let the foxtail grow and cut it for hay....been so dry the weeds are not even growing. Over this summer we might have got 4 inches if we were lucky. Most of the fall crops are toast, they are cutting alot of corn for silage. Beans, people are checking, and there is not beans in the pods. One of the pastures has a well over 300 foot deep....and having issues with it now....how long does it take rain to go down 300 feet ?
Had call this afternoon from a fellow that is in bad shape, needs something for the cattle to eat, so he is wanting to run them out on the failed wheat. He is hoping he will get some rain so the sudan will grow and have feed for this fall, but you know it's almost oct.......

but the question is......why are the markets in such a horrible shape.....there was not much wheat last year, conditions were not good this year, seed wheat is hard to come by right now and is expensive....but look where we are at.....still issues in the urkrane......
most wheat around here was not even cut this year.

Wheat should be double of where it is.

yes crop insurance, but the prolong dry weather for the last few years is really hitting the aph

the same question could be asked on the corn market and soybean market.

questions even on if planting wheat this fall, soil is so dry don't even know if it will even come up, and then if it does, it will run out of moisture, since the profile is depleated.

thanks for listening
