Depending on what brand breaker box you have, there are likely tandem breakers available. In essence, they're 2 single pole breakers in the space (width wise any way, they may be longer) of one standard single pole breaker. Put a couple of these in, and move a couple 120V circuits, and you have two open spaces for the two pole, 240V, 50A breaker.

There are code limitations as to how many tandem breakers you can install in any one panel, however.

As others have stated, it's doubtful you 200A panel is loaded anywhere near capacity, amperage wise.
