East of Broken Bow
I bought a used pickup from a guy 6 or 7 years ago, it had a Bomgaars economy battery in it. Still there.
This is on an old Dodge Power Wagon with a carbureter. If you ever had one of those, you know it rarely starts with less than about 15-20 seconds of cranking. It can sit 2 months, and that battery, along with a cheapo booser pack will start it almost every time.
I also bought a used straight truck 4-5 years ago. IH 496 running on propane. Sat for over a year before I bought it. Had to boost it to start it to drive it home. Put it on a trickle float charger for a couple days, and it started the truck for me ever since. Another Bomgaars economy battery.
Thinking if they still get them from the same supplier, I might just try getting one myself the next time I need one.
