Nobody charges an EV on a 120v circuit unless you are doing it to say you can. Too slow for regular usage.

The standard for charging at home is a 50 amp 240v circuit, same as you'd use for a welder in your farm shop, or for a hot tub. These are pretty common and I don't know why anyone would build a house today without one in the garage, even if you don't own an EV. This size of circuit tends to work well since the car can charge while you sleep. For people with time-of-day electric meters, the energy is cheapest overnight too. It's the sweet spot of being fast enough to charge overnight, but the cost to install a 50A circuit is still pretty cheap.
