I realize I'm just one guy, but I always ask what something will cost. If the price is reasonable, I pay. If it seems a bit steep, I'll go elsewhere if possible. My call. You seem a bit butt hurt that the guy didn't pay what you asked and went somewhere that suited his needs better.
I couldn't have cared less - he pays $45 for an RV site (as much "free" electricity as he wants) - or he drives an additional 150+ miles and wastes 4 hours doing so. Guess his time isn't worth $10 an hour. I guess since he owns an EV I should discount the RV site, an gave him a room for free as well.
