Subject: Questions re EV for resident knowledge persons

Central Illinois
Read an article about EV and would appreciate hearing from NAT members about the accuracy of the numbers.
Cost of batteries will increase not decrease because inputs and costs are controlled by others.
Fast charging stations cost between $470,000 and $750,000.
Using standard 110 volt outlet will require 40 to 60 hours to charge an EV.
Specially installed 220 volt charge will require 4 to 10 hours to charge EV.
Grid problem: will the grid be able to provide the needed power if the government mandated EV sales are met?

Not trying to start a political discussion just asking.
If the numbers sited are incorrect what are the numbers?
Would like to hear what others think the costs will be.
