Iowa | If using the same tractor to plant and spray with i think section control is really easily justifiable being able to use one monitor for both. Used systems can be pieced together at a fraction of new if you know what you need or can do research/have a friend or neighbor willing to help a little. Autosteer is very easily added once set up with a monitor and everything to run section control but just remember it doesn’t have to be added at the same time if the dollars you are willing to spend are limited and is mostly a creature comfort where section control is justifiable by cost savings alone but you get the added benefit of ease of operation thrown in. Using that same system to go in the combine if you don’t currently have a yield monitor would again help spread the cost of the monitor out and utilize it more.
