One of our highest yielding on average hybrids has large flats and often is in that 54 lb test weight range because they don't pack into a cup as tight. For shipping to some processors, we get a premium because they like the looks of it. It isn't a set premium, the broker that hauls to them just asks me what I need for some more of that large kernal pretty corn and I set my own premium basically.

On the converse, we often have some 59 lb smaller kernal corn and once in awhile we get some push back on it even at feedlots even though it meets all the quality standards for #2 corn.
