Not really the same. I doubt a hotel would be much cheaper without the continental breakfast. I could care less weather I eat their breakfast or not but I choose not to participate in the breakfast that’s my choice. I know I have never asked a hotel to fill or top off my gas tank for free.
I’ll run into hotels just to have the free breakfast….
