- row shutoffs is first priority. Why waste seed in over planting areas especially since you mentioned terraces. Added benefit is using same monitor in combine. Opens up lots of opportunities for fertility and tile placement down the road. You’ll save enough on seed to pay for system. You will see areas that are costing you money with fertilizer dollars so you can pull back on those.

- grid test new ground. Generally cost is same as a 2-2.5 ton spread but is put on the acres needed. Fertilize for removal until you can push.

- do not turn down opportunities, there is usually a way to make it work.
