You know, the more I'm around this whole EV and road-tripping thing, the more it strikes me as being like flying a private plane. If you drive to the airport, jump in the plane, and take off in the general direction of where you want to go, chances are, it won't end well. I guess it's probably the old combat infantryman in me. You need a plan, a backup plan, and if possible, even a couple layers beyond that. The EV deal is still a little bit in the adventure stage and I enjoy that. When it gets to the point where there is a good supercharger every 50 miles, and destination chargers at every motel it won't have near the adventure coefficient.
