WCIL

We have one that is connected to the duct system of our house built in the 1850's.   It can keep the entire house  warm.   Even in the extreme cold the upstairs will stay at least 65 degrees.   A   2 ton feed bin sits outside my bedroom window.   With a switch my husband augers several days worth of corn into the holding bin... ( do not use flex auger).   That holding bin automatically feeds the fire.    I'll be honest I don't take care of it I keep hoping he'll write down the particulars.
Even though it is connected to a thermostat  it can get too warm  in the house.   The corn stove is under the bedroom and sometimes  I open a window to be able to sleep.   Also,   once it gets to 40+ degrees on a daily basis we have to shut it off.
