Northwest Iowa
I have had one for 15 years ish. As other posters shared, the corn needs to be dry. I'll fill a barge box wagon will corn once it's time to put the sweep auger in the bin, that corn is dry and burns nice. There are different heat settings on stoves, on mine I don't burn a bushel a day, maybe 45-50 pounds, more than that and it is too hot in the room. I have burned some trashy corn, blended it in with no problems. Mine is a manual start, a self starting stove would be nice if they are available.
