NE WI | Only seen that in Tok and Fairbanks AK where there was an outlet by every parking spot for block heaters at the hotels.
On the north slope they never shut the diesel trucks off. We helped a stranded oil worker taking a brand new truck up to the north slope somewhere between Denali and Anchorage. TSA took his leatherman so he had no tools to put the turbo hose back on that blew off. We asked how they start the trucks in the winter up there and that’s when he stated they never shut them off.
