Subject: Establishing Priorities

SE Iowa
Like the title reads I need to establish some priorities. Taking on more ground (rented but family owned) and don’t have the cash to do everything at once and potentially none of it for a year until cash flow on more area starts getting more comfortable. Let me know what you think the entire order should be or at least what you would consider to be the most important.

Options
- soil test and lime new ground if needed (no recent testing)
- pattern tile / terrace work (very little pattern tiled currently but spot tiled pretty good in problem areas)
- gps with row shut offs (no guidance on our farm currently)
- save for more capital to be able to rent or actually buy more ground in the future (this option would be the “drive straight, tile as much as you can yourself, and just stick with removal rates” option)
