Red Paint - 9/23/2023 17:52  In this area it seems grain operations either have no storage, or enough storage to hold their entire crop. The guys without storage either don’t have the capital to build storage or don’t see it as a necessity for their operation and I don’t think either of those situations will change.

I don't know how one would be farming for more than a couple years and "not have the capital" to build a grain bin.   The govt will loan you nearly 100% of the money (at low interest) with nothing other than the structure as collateral.

Were getting close to having enough storage for 100% of our crop at APH yields.    When that day gets here, I'll be very happy to not have to deliver any grain during harvest.

I upgraded dryer capacity and added another fair sized storage bin this year. (Still finishing a few things) This will be the first year everything can come home and stay there if I chose too. Like Kooiker said, I’ll be happy !!
