South Central IN | We are about half done calving and have had seven sets so far. Like you normally one or two. What was in the water at breeding last fall?
We have lost one set, lost one of several sets and had a couple twins be rejected by the cow. We have found it easier to pull off the extra and sell it as a bottle calf. During harvest there isn’t much extra time to be bottle feeding twice a day. | |
