After a many years of fighting tar spot, I will never spray with aircraft again, no comparison how much better ground application is with a lot more water for much better coverage. The planes don't do near as well as they used to either, they used to spray headlands and get closer to woods and obstructions. Now they don't make an effort to do a good job .
