No one is forcing you to deliver it at harvest. The govt will even loan you the money at ~4% to build storage.
The numbers given in this thread would pay for a new bin pretty fast.
In this area it seems grain operations either have no storage, or enough storage to hold their entire crop. The guys without storage either don’t have the capital to build storage or don’t see it as a necessity for their operation and I don’t think either of those situations will change.
