I would do a concrete slab unless a really stiff oil c oil "resistance to rutting" I would go concrete. If buying a small amount of hot mix expect similar price to concrete and much less workability. Asphalt also needs great drainage. Concrete and rebar is pretty hard to beat. If only using a skidloader to load out feed. I would say 5" of concrete with#4 rebar 2' OC will last a long time as long as you have a good base underneath.
