I guess I missed where I was repeatedly complaining or sitting. I love working people that want to work and be responsible for their lives. Finding a job and employer that suits you is part of being responsible for yourself.

I also am proud of the electrician that does the bulk of installs for us. He works too much imo and isn't enjoying the fruits of his labor with his young family, he knows it, but the phone keeps ringing. He lives a 1/4 mile from a lake and bought a new boat last summer and it hasn't seen water, ever. It is hard to say no when you are driven, but at some point it is detrimental as long time loyal customers get frustrated with not being able to get things done.

Very few of us have our work priority lined up correctly. It seems like the majority are on the extremes, at least with the 'self employed'. Either it feels like you need to work all the time or you sit on your butt collecting unemployment/welfare.

Glad you got some rain. From my perspective on the radar returns, I'm surprised it isn't too muddy up there for you to be out, but I am envisioning electric fence on farm ground. We got an inch seventy on our farthest north field where we were picking and I went up this morning and turned the semi around in the field, so it is soaking it up. The road was wetter. 1.70 is probably more than it had all growing season. It was definitely 3 times more than it ever got in one rain.
