Because TW is absolutely a useless metric except fir calculating the mass of a specified volume. It has nothing to do with quality or yield. Merely used as a discount to generate income.



I agree it has nothing to do with yield but it has everything to do with QUALITY. Thats the whole point of testing test weight. Example being wheat with 55 test weight and wheat with 62 test weight are completely different beasts even if you are taking the same amount of weight off a acre.
