Would have been so much better keeping it simple.
PTO is todays world is BS anyways. If you have any kind of a leadership position they will call you, email you, expect your first day back for you to be completely caught up.
Most leadership positions are put on salary, then ask for you to put more time in than what you interviewed for.
I agree with this 110%.
When I had my salary job I worked until the job was done. Holidays, weekends, nights it didn't matter I was there. That said you could also find me in the combine at 2:00 pm too to offset some of that but they got what they were paying me for and then some and my performance numbers showed that, but it was never enough, and they always wanted more. You're giving 110% while others were giving 0% but they checked the right DEI boxes, so they were protected.
