north central Ohio | I’ve often thought if I worked a non farm job I’d want benefits in cash and then go get my own health and retirement plan. However the majority of people don’t have the slightest idea how to do this economically and thus just prefer their employer take care of it themselves. Many are probably further ahead doing so in the long run if they aren’t disciplined to use the money as it should be. Get cash and never gets put in a retirement plan but instead goes to larger house and car payment. Most employees have no idea there wages are only half of their employers cost on them. So yes you have a very good point but we are way to far down the rabbit hole now to change without some huge economic downturn that rivals the Great Depression. Until we have people with physical hunger we will stay the current course. | |
