DG is a trait, so you get the privilege of paying more for a DG hybrid, even if the drought "tolerance" isn't very good.
There's a 112 day DG hybrid that yields really well in a regional bag... under irrigation. But since it came out of that program, it costs more than a regular VT2, even though the drought tolerance isn't great.
